Who are we?

Why are we looking for you?

We are looking for an Operational Buyer for Duux. Together with Joost, our Procurement Manager, and our teams in the Netherlands and China you form our purchasing team. You ensure that everything runs smoothly, delivery times and agreements with our factories are kept tight and you are our point of contact for production questions from China. And you always think along in how things can be planned even better and tighter. Do you like a good challenge and working internationally with different cultures? Then you are the one we are looking for!

What will you do?

• You will process and coordinate productions of Duux air treatment products at the various contract plants in Asia.
• You will work closely with Duux colleagues in the China office and collaborate in obtaining pricing and delivery schedules, deploying productions and checking appointments.
• You will build, maintain and strengthen relationships with (existing) international suppliers.
• You are the first point of contact for suppliers and for production questions from Duux customers from Europe and Asia.
• You will actively participate in annual planning with your Sales and Supply Chain colleagues.
• You will document and maintain product specifications to ensure quality and uniformity in the Duux assortment.

What are we looking for in you?

• A completed (preferably commercial) college education
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement or product management or developing own brand products.
• Experience sourcing and purchasing consumer electronics or non-food products.
• Experience managing suppliers in the Far East, particularly in China, and you understand the underlying cultural dimensions.
• You have a natural drive to collaborate with various stakeholders and departments within Duux.
• You write and speak English fluently, communicating clearly and effectively to colleagues, customers and suppliers.
• You are stress resistant, proactive and have a hands-on mentality.
• Experience with product certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (intercontinental).
