Do not place the air purifier in a corner. The rule of thumb is to keep at least one meter clear between the front, top and sides for optimal efficiency.
Tips for optimal efficiency: Keep all windows and doors closed and make sure there are not too many pets and/or people in the room, as this leads to more pet hair/carbon dioxide present.
