An ultrasonic humidifier leaves a white haze. This is because there is lime in our tap water, this is blown into the air and later settles on the surfaces. The lime filter absorbs the vast majority of lime particles which will reduce limescale emissions. It is also possible to put demineralized water in the humidifier instead of tap water. This is because this water does not contain lime, so you will no longer get a white haze.

If you use a humidifier without an ultrasonic element this problem does not occur at all, as this type of humidifier works on the basis of cold water evaporation.
